I have spent the last 4 days in a state of awe and disbelief.
Saturday morning my 16 year old son was thrown from a vehicle traveling at 140 MPH.
His friend who was in the front passengers seat was pronounced DOA.
The driver was just released from ICU and arrested yesterday.(manslaughter)
The reason I am in awe is that my son was ejected from the vehicle going 140 miles per hour but he walked away with no more than a banged up knee and a very minimal amount of road rash.
He is a miracle.... There is no reason on this earth that he walked away with no serious injuries, no broken bones, no serious lacerations.the car was going 140 miles per hour.
I can only see the hand of god wrapping him in his protective hand and setting him down gently.
There is no other concievable reason for my son being here today.
