The Search

The sky the earth the scorching sun I walk alone until I'm done

I search for love my whole life through I pray I'll find my love in you

My tortured soul shall find no rest till I have loved the very best

I fear the end is not in sight I'm still alone this very night

The love I found was not for me my tortured soul still is not free

The love she gave it did not last for my new love is now my past

I"ll search for love my whole life through I pray I'll find my love anew

My tortured soul shall find no rest till I have loved the very best

I thought I had searched every where every here and every there

And when I thought my search was through alas I found my love in you.
