Here is a poem by a very dear friend of mine and I just wanted to to share it with everyone. It goes as follows:
In love there is a gentle dawn
Alight with warmth and care
If we’ve luck it lasts through time
And holds us, ever gentle, there
Dark can steal that tenderness
Grimly mantled stark despair
We shiver in the bitter night
Whisper soft a gentle prayer
Armed with the gifts of fate and time
And life’s most gentle rhymes
Quietly we wait and pray
To get us through that lonely time
When our hearts are brave
Enduring patiently the night
We find that sweet love anew
Dawn’s gift again warmest light
