REBBI KASTLER's blog: "Rebbi's Blog"

created on 10/15/2007  |  http://fubar.com/rebbi-s-blog/b141494
Tonight it is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I am forced to announce a parting of the ways between WorldRockRadio.com & myself along with my radio program "Rebbi's Rambunctious Noize". I also want to state right now that this is not some hobby for me. When I got into terrestrial radio & the entertainment business, this wasn't a hobby for me, this is one of my passions in life and how I make my living. With the help of some great people I managed to make the transition from terrestrial broadcasting to internet broadcasting. Lots of love go out to Brat Prince, Evil, Cru & Doc at WorldRockRadio. I have nothing but the utmost respect for them. I want to put all the rumours & bullshit to a rest right now. And yes some of it the *gossip* has already started coming to my attention as I write this public statement. I have not gotten fired contrary to popular belief, nor have I broken a rule to get fired. I am not closing the book in this chapter of my life with the people that I've met and gotten to know along the way that either work for WorldRockRadio.com or listen to the station. I've met some amazingly awesome, accepting, creative and talented people. As of right now, I have been offered to do 1 show on 1 night a week but at this moment in time I cannot commit to that offer because of scheduling conflicts. This is a business decision plain and simple. I am moving on to bigger and better things. I've managed to build and come up with a business model for not only my own radio station (which by the way I put on the back burner while at WRR) but my own show that I firmly believe in. I am finally having fun doing what I have loved for so long & I must do what is not only right for me but also for my broadcasting career and my show. I have a vision for my show & I want my show to grow to the next level in internet entertainment. I also have plans for a Syndicated Sunday Night Indie Music show that I've been wanting to so for a very long time. In order for me to do the things I want I can no longer be held back by being exclusive to WorldRockRadio. I want to work on my other projects. I've been in the Radio Broadcasting Industry for a very long time and I know what I'm doing. I have the tools & the experience to get back to where I once was and that is my main goal. That is very evident to my listeners as well as the people that know my background. Krush Radio Networks management is firm in their beliefs of non syndicated radio programming and exclusive DJ's on their airwaves which is their call not mine. I have no control over that. I do wish that they'd reconsider mainly because if properly cross promoted it would benefit both of parties involved. I wish them all the best in the future. With Regards Rebeka M. Kastler
