OK...so I am not gonna get into a lot of details but there has been a lot of crap going on in my life lately. Some good, a lot of bad, but it has really brought a lot of things to my attention. One thing is I have not seen much outside the northwest. I love it here but I want to see other things.
Recently at work it has been made clear that I am only being kept their because they dont have anyone else to replace me. So maybe I should get out first?
Here's my idea. I wanna just hop on a greyhound and travel across the country and back, just have some cool rest stops set up along the way. Spend a day in New Orleans or maybe a friend off the net. There are a lot of options and this is something I have wanted to do for a while. Im fairly confident I could find work when I got back, have taxes and vacation pay coming, and I have a friend or two I could stay with when I got back.
To the point finally. Should I just take it because at least I havea job and responsibility and all that...or should I go cross country and get some vacation and perspective?
I will be the one to decide this in the end but I would really appreciate ideas, thoughts, and opinions. Thank you. |
