What are you waiting for?
This letter was written to one of my beautiful girl friends here. Like me she's survived cancer for over 15 years now. You wouldn't know it by looking at her or me but we are here and have to deal with it and all the other bs that goes with long term cancer survival. Her first and only husband left her with two children and cancer to tend to and she asked for some advise as he is leading her on still. Like I always said, "Life is a bitch.... and then you LIVE." Onward.
I've been divorced 3 times and not one was easy to get through, but, in the long run I've managed to stay friends with all my exes to this day except for one that died of cancer. It's not easy, like I said, but you have to let go and love the most painful thing completely, ie., losing a very close relationship. It doesn't happen over night and it's best to stay as busy as you can doing something you enjoy to take your mind off of it.
Your mind. That's where the secret lies and you controlling your emos not your loneliness controlling you. Your are never alone in this world today. I meditate and clear my mind as much as needed everyday and pray if more clearing is needed.
There is an Infinite Healing Presence within you, the godhead, that lifts you up, heals, restores and directs you. This Presence frees you from bondage and limitations and sets you on the HIGH road to freedom and peace of mind. Divine Law and Order are always operating in your life, and whatever you set your mind to will prosper. There is no under action or over action, only right action.
Forgiveness means that you must wish the other person well. You must forgive hurts and injuries sincerely in your heart so that when you think about them, there is no longer any sting in your mind. Forgiveness does not mean to make a 'doormat' of yourself. Resentment and a desire to see someone punished rots your soul and fastens your troubles to you like rivets. Forgive yourself for harboring negative thoughts, and as you release the other person or persons you make way for the river of life, love, truth and abundance to flow into your experience.
