I really miss the company and fun of having a partner and would love to have that again. I miss the 'normality' of having someone significant in my life - the talking, sitting watching tv together, having someone to go out with, to rely on, and share experiences with.....

I am definitely a 'one man woman' and feel at my best within a committed relationship. I am looking for a long-term partner, not some short fling, or 'friends with benefits' situation ! lol ...

I am looking for a partner who will always be in my corner, and I in his; who is intelligent and will challenge me in every aspect of my life; honesty, trust and respect go without saying within all of my relationships; I want a man who can communicate effectively and who knows his own mind (I would rather you were passionate about 'anything' - even if it was a different perspective to mine - rather than not be passionate about anything !!); you would need to be sociable and down to earth (and a good sense of humour would be beneficial, lol); be a gentleman, and basically just be a 'good man'... (he must also be affectionate !! lol)

I strongly believe that we "meet the people we are meant to meet, when we are meant to meet them"... and that life is full of lessons (learning is a gift, even when pain is the teacher)... and so I am looking forward to learning many new life lessons with/from my new "Mr" (whenever that may be...)

Personally, I am confident, have a good sense of humour, very easy going, educated and sociable. I am a 'country girl' at heart, and love all things 'outdoors' (camping, hiking, fishing, hunting etc), an avid reader, I am definitely 'a talker' and like to get into good conversations - so a shy or quiet type isn't really for me (unless its just an initial thing, and we will break the walls down quickly), I have returned to the gym for the past year (although my PT would prefer to see me more often I am sure !!) and I am really enjoying physical challenges (although I am a realist and know I will never have the body of my 20's, lol) I have very varied tastes in music and like most genres, love going to live theatre, movies, live music, comedy club.... weekends are spent catching up with family and friends, going for a drive to explore new places, picnics, markets, or some physical activity - or combination of all of these !!! (rainy days are spent watching a movie/reading under a blanket - snuggle partner required)..... basically I am an intelligent, interesting person, willing to give most things a go.... I have baggage (at our age, who doesn't !! but on the most part...) it is safely stowed, lol

I would love to meet someone with similar attributes to spend time with and see what happens. I am definitely someone who thinks that the best relationships start with a good foundation of friendship... and then all things are possible !!!!
