I could say many things, but I will try to keep this basic and not make it into a book. I believe in God. I owe Him everything and I am nothing without him. I am not perfect and I make no excuses for my imperfections, but I am constantly striving to perfect myself in God. "I believe the children are our future. [We must] teach them well and let them lead the way. [We must] show them all the beauty they possess inside [and] give them a sense of pride to make it easier [and] let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be." ("Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston) I am conservative and I do not agree with many liberal issues; to each his own. I am no man's judge and I believe everyone has a right to be who they want to be as long as they are not out to bring others down. I love people. Everyone has their own beliefs. I am definitely not a person who will force my beliefs onto others. I look forward to listening, learning and understanding as much as I can about everyone and everything around me. I am not always right or know everything about anything...and I will not pretend to. I believe in serving others. There is a quote that I live by: "What we do in this life echoes in eternity" (Gladiator- quoted by Maximus) I want great things to echo in eternity, not just for the things I achieved for myself, but for the things I was able to do for others. "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.... Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind" (Meditation XVII by John Donne). Life is too short to worry about what-ifs, could-ofs, would-ofs and whatever else there is to regret not doing. My past and future do not matter to me as much as my present. What I do now is what I will look back on and what will lead me to my destiny. I am optimistic and hopeful. If you want to know me, ask me.
