Hobbies: I service and repair guitar amplifiers for fun and proffit. I grow orchids. I enjoy hiking, camping, survival preparedness. I play ukulele, guitar, harmonica, and Jews harp. I build things, sometimes furniture, sometimes sculpture, sometimes visual effects for film & television (welcome to Hollywood!). I am an amature ("Ham") radio operator and have a rather complete radio/electronics workshop in my home (can you say GEEK?!?). I smoke a pipe. I drink coffee & tea, and currently have 7 coffee/espresso machines in my kitchen. I read books about philosophy, geology, and various construction techniques. I have lived in more than a dozen cities in the US & worked 10 years as an audio engineer in the live music industry. I love to cook, and especially to barbecue, grill, or smoke meat. I used to enjoy fishing and golf before my spinal injury. Those will be back on the list eventually. What I DON'T do: drink alcohol, pray, practice harmonica in the house, cheat, steal, housework, any other kind of work. I don't cut vegetarians any slack. I don't give bicyclists the right of way when I can't see them. I don't wear baggy/saggy pants 'cause I have a belt. I don't pay my bills on time.
