Music
It's the one thing I don't think I could live without.
I've always been in choir, competed in contest, sang at church, etc.
As for what I like, there isn't much I don't like, and I have my parents to thank for that. I'm a classic rock girl.
For about half of college I ran around DFW with some of the bands, mostly Fort Worth guys, and just adored it. I wish I could do it all over again. It was nothing to spend Thursday, Friday and Saturday night's in Deep Ellum or out by TCU, mix with that the drinking and class and work and yea, it was good. Oh, and one can't forget the bad mexican fast food on the way back up 35 to Denton.
Right before I left Texas I started to at least have an appreciation for some country. I'm getting better with it, but it still has a time and a place.
I like it all though - Schostakovich to GnR, Green Day to Frank Sinatra, Lonestar to Eminem.
Video Games
I'm not very good at 3D games. Give me good ole fashion Atari or NES and I'm quite content. I grew up loving SimCity and Civilization and Duke Nukem and Secret Agent Man. I just like the simple stuff - sadly it's because I can see it better.
