Idols
My # 1 idol is my dad. I am a daddy's girl by heart and I love this man dearly. He is truely my best friend and side by side, we can accomplish anything. I have my dad's unconditional love and support, believe me there are times when I don't deserve it. He is a retired Naval Seabee officer who served 2 tours in Veitnam, one of which was voluntary. Yes, I said voluntary, when no one else wanted to go back in - he gave the ultimate sacrifice and went back to De Nang and helped his fellow troops return home safely to their families. In Bilouxi, Mississippi, there is a Naval Museum and he is hanging on the wall of it (well, maybe not since Hurrican Katrina) but I have seen it and he was there. He has endured alot - loosing his parents at an early age, having to raise himself, the past memories of Veitnam and having me as a daughter (LOL).
