I am interested in everything... but the one thing I have really learned is just how ignorant I am... so I try to correct that condition. Fortunately, the more I come to know, the more I realize just how much I do NOT know... so I always have something interesting to learn. With some few exceptions, new music sucks, and not in a good way. As for who I listen to... Rush, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, The Strawbs, Jethro Tull, Steely Dan, Neil Young, CSNY, ELP, ELO, Patsy Cline, Chet Atkins, Loretta Lynn, Les Paul & Mary Ford, JS Bach, Greenday (new music that does not suck), Phish, Elbow, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Arlo Guthrie, Peter, Paul, & Mary... it goes on and on. I don't like hip-hop/rap, and I am not at all thrilled with marching band music (I hate holiday parades for that reason). I love Surf Music too... and The Ramones.
