Interests
I'm an artist, writer, dog sponsor and above all, good person. My life centers on sponsoring the older, special needs or at-risk dogs at our shelter. Too many beautiful spirits are overlooked because of a small hiccup in health or simply because of their age. They never stop loving just because they're older. Some love so much that they can't handle the stress of the shelter environment. I'm guided to find the ones who need me the most and promote them in our local paper. The greatest reward of all is to never see these special souls again because they have found a forever home. What's not to love?

Former President Jimmy Carter. Who knew? He has set more positive examples by doing, more-so than any other former president.
Former Steelers full back Rocky Bleier. Receiving a 40% disability diagnosis from two hits in his legs during the same battle in the Viet Nam war, he never gave up and fought back to win 4 Super Bowl rings.
Art Rooney for never giving up on Rocky Bleier.
Any active duity member who has taken the oath to serve and protect by laying down their lives for us.

Latest Status
LisaCatizoneHeslop Married to an active duty military man. And as I saw earlier, not all the active duty are overseas fighting. Many are here tending to the wounded who return. God bless all of them!
