Hello :) I'm a 20 (soon to be 21) year old female with a 2 year old son. I am in my 2nd year of University hoping to be a Social Worker someday. Life over the last 2 years has been rough, I have been sick and been through a lot


My family and friends mean the world to me and I think thats it for now :)


What happened to me....
2 months after I had Aiden I was diagnosed with Mysthenia Gravis (basically made me really weak: eye and lip drooped, arms became weak...) and then doctors found I had a growth called a Thymoma on my Thymus Gland...so I had it removed (it was the size of a lemon-it was a tumor)...(my surgery was one year ago April 8th)...then in June 2005 I had a Grand Mal seizure which was because the Thymoma had a slit it in (no one knew at the time) causing some cells to escape and attack my brain. I now have Lymbic Encephalitis (short term memory loss...so for example I dont remember giving birth to Aiden, some still from my childhood etc....- which is healing itself so I am better...thank GOD). I also had Chemotherapy and Radiation...this was all over the summer/fall of 2005...just in case more cells were still in my body from the tumor. I was also in hospitals for 2 months after the seizure. In June 2006 I was diagnosed with Lupus...basically swollen and still joints. Now Im doing better...everything is under control...got the liscense back....back at scool finishing the 2nd year (should be in 4th)...and life is finally coming back together :o)
