I am sarcastic, funny and calm. I have patience, but when they run out I have a Irish temper. I am confident but not cocky. I don't think I have a right to be cocky, I am pretty humble and thankful for what I have. It is interesting to try to come up with "About Me" information without trying to come off as pretentious.
I am here for new friends and open to whatever else may come from this. Talking to new and interesting people is fun and I have loved my experiences here so far.

Interests
Basically, just discovering this fubar site...looks fun and everyone is very nice so far. I am generally interested in many and most music but I do not listen to country. I play guitar and enjoy playing rock style music. I do like listening to jazz an blues as well, the roots of all music.
I like movies, some of my favorites are Say Anything, Breakfast Club,(a lot of 80's movies) The Dark Knight and most Batman movies were George Clooney and Val Kilmer were NOT involved in. I like horror and thrillers and good comedy movies. So I am open to all types.
I also like to snowboard, which I do not do much anymore. I used to snowboard all the time when I worked at a ski resort...it was free! I also played in a band a long time ago...
Music
I can listen to most music as I mentioned. I do not listen to country, but I can appreciate it as a art. Same with R&B - now old school R&B I can dig that. Jazz and blues are good and all those forms of music started rock. I like hard rock and some metal, but not really into the screaming vocals.
Bands I enjoy 90's grunge rock bands like Nirvana, the First Pearl Jam "ten" album, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden. G N R, Metallica and such. I like disturbed, Rage against the Machine (Tom Morello is my guitar hero of modern times), and some of the new rock bands coming out now. Many, many to list but you get the point!
