I've always wanted to join the military really, so about a year ago I decided to get my act together and join. I'm stationed at Fort Bliss,Tx and it's hot! Currently, I have the unique priveledge of being assigned to a new unit(1-41 IN) here at Bliss, which is proving to be an awesome experience. Though the 'ball' is rolling with this unit, it is very slow and cumbersome, and at times at an almost stand still. So, to fill some of my time I've recently enrolled into Columbia Southern University's online program to get my BS in Organizational Leadership. I figure someday it might come in good use. I like to read alot and my favorite book to date would haveto be WORDS FOR WARRIORS:A Professional Soldier's Notebook by Ret.Colonel Ralph Puckett. I have gained a hoard of knowledge from his vast experiences overs the years.

I've tried to go out and have fun with the night life here, but for some reason I can't seem to find a woman worth the time and effort. Maybe I expect too much, or maybe I can't get over my past and how I did her wrong.....I guess I'll keep looking till the looking's done. And if I can't find that one person that I'm looking for, well that'd be alright by me as long as I make some friends along the way.
