Learn from the past and have hope for the future. It is the simple things in life that we all must never forget. The "obstecles" are the challenges that God gives us to make us strong.
"CHINA DOLL" As I sit back and look at my life, I truly wonder what God put me here for.. Somewhere in my past there was a kind older gentleman who called me his "China Doll", he loved me like a daughter because his had passed on. He and my grandmother shocked me when the told me they "admired" me because of all the hardships that I have been through and not only survived but I still have held on to my morals and have enough love to share with the world. I have given and will always give of myself "unconditionally" to everyone and I have never known a stranger in life. We all deserve love and respect. Life is funny.... I am finding there are few "china" dolls left in this world. It has changed and I will never be able to grasp how people can be so hurtfull and so hateful.... No life is not fair but we all have to survive and no matter if the hurt is physical or emotional we all need to deal with it. I will admit that this was one "china" doll who was shattered over the turn of ALL the events that have hit me this past but I'm a survivor and as long as I give to everyone it will take away from me and maybe I will be able to help someone pass the kindness on and it will be that small step in humanity. I have been called an "angel" many times in my life but I am just me a simple woman. I admire the traits of my grandma and this older gentleman because they were real and never out to hurt anyone. As I held onto those values in my journey, the pieces have been left behind by this "china" doll and picked up around the world. God has now blessed me with an "Angel" and now I understand that I had to take this walk in my life to be at peace and learn who I am so that I can appreciate the simple gift of true love and heal. He is my strength and now I know I will be alright. Thank YOU.........Love, Your "China" Doll........
"A TRUE LADY" A true lady knows how to pray with all her heart daily. She gives all her love unconditionally and never asks but for very little in return. She is patient and kind yet strong enough to bend with the tides of life. When she feels like she is at her weakest point she knows that God is her strength. She can truly reflect back on her life and see how the rough times make her appreciate the simple things that surround her today. When it comes to love she can bow down gracefully and be there in times of need because she knows to put it in Gods hands and when she looks to the heavens her Angel will come for her. As we grow and endure lifes hardships we mature but it is not until we reflect do we see whether we have lived and learned the gracefullness of becoming a true lady. In my dreams the phrase "My Lady" kept running through my head and a calm peace came over me because I know that in the time that God has given me, my Angel will come for me and I will be there with arms wide open.

I love to step outside and look at the stars in the sky, watch a beautiful storm come in, the sun setting in the horizon. Long "unthoughtful" walks just to unwind and take the time to thank God for the Blessings He has given me. My Dream is that everyone can come to terms with the life that they have been given and see the good in it. Happiness is what we make it and the hardness of life is to make us strong and secure in who we are. No one should be alone in life and we all have friends to lean on but to find that special someone to walk that path with us is a blessing. Men should not hurt that special woman in their life because women are special and Women should not take advantage of that special man who will give everything to love, protect, and cherish them for who they are. My dream is that who ever that special someone in your life, you both will build the respect and trust that is needed to provide the foundation of true love. My dream is that all my dear friends are blessed in every way possible and that you appreciate that special Angel that God has put into your life. Life is to precious to quit. Appreciate the day that is given because the future will be brighter.

If the movie can pull at all emotions than there is a movie worth watching. The best movie ever made is life... Take time to live and remember the good and learn from the bad. Reality is stranger than fiction so laugh and share the moment with family and friends.
Idols
As children we all grow up learning about life and trying to live by the example of everyone around us. We learn right from wrong and learn to spread our wings. A lot of us can look back and remember the special people in our lives who gave us the foundation to build our lives and gave us the strength we needed. I was fortunate enough to learn from a lot of people but none more than my family. My grandpa taught me the art of wood carving, blacksmithing and getting the job done correctly the first time with no complaints no matter how hard it was or impossible it seemed and at the end of the day it was ok to go fishing and look at the beauty around you. My grandma taught me the gift of "knowledge". She would always say "The day is not wasted when you have completed 2 things: 1) learn and apply it in your day and 2) help someone, anyone who needed it and and only take with you the quiet joy that you put a smile on their face". She would dance and sing in her house or take the time to read or do a crossword. Her love of crafts was a gift of joy that she would do and give to a complete stranger on the street. My mom taught me what true strength is.. She was there for her parents and for us. She insured that everything on the farm was done and when times were tough she would work at night for extra money, there were times when food was short and she would go without so everyone else could eat. She gave her time to the Navy wives when the men were out to sea. Everyday she wrote my dad faithfully and never once complained. She worked til her hands bled and would still smile. My dad is a true hero... Not only did he marry my mom and take on the responsibility of insuring her parents would always be there with her but he unconditionally loved us enough to adopt us and raise us. He is retired Navy now and still works hard. He took the time to go to school and graduate with honors from college. He knew how to laugh when things were tough, took the time to teach us about his job, and being raised a farm boy in Iowa, he took the time to teach us hunting and enjoy fishing. We all learned communication is not only what is said but what is shown.... Hero's are the people who we all look up to.. The ones who give unconditionally and who can take the time not only to laugh but to cry, They maybe afraid but they are not selfish... They give a part of their lives to someone or everyone. They leave a legacy of pride and their love is unconditional.... So to my Hero's Thank YOU for everything you have given me..... You are my true Angels....... Love,ME
