I clean up nicely.
I’m really good at listening, observing, reading, problem solving, appreciating, creating, things mental, and things physical...
There are two types of people in the world: Observers and Participants (I am, and prefer to assosciate with, the latter).
Things I can’t (or choose not) to live without: The ocean (on or in), romance, my children, literature, 3-D modelling software, my DUI drysuit, expensive tequila, sensuality, sexual intimacy, a pointy stick...
I love to eat Sushi, Italian Seafood, anything Mexican, Steak and Potatoes, etc.
Interests
I don't watch sports (on TV or otherwise). I have never watched a Super Bowl
I've never watched "Survivor".
Once, (and it was awful) I watched part of "American Idol".
I enjoy reading. Some favorites are: Mark Twain, The Hungry Ocean by Greenlaw, Jerome K. Jerome, anything Vonnegut, Ambrose Bierce (esp. The Devil's Dictionary), West with the Night, Annals of the Former World and The Control of Nature by John McPhee, anything Steinbeck, RL Stevenson, etc. Obviously, there is so much more, but suffice it to say that I prefer non-fiction and I am not interested in modern mystery/romantic fiction factory output.
Music
I listen to Jesse Cook, Delerium, Sade, Luis Miguel, Cheryl Crow, Michael Buble, Diana Kroll, Nat King Cole, The Band, 50, 60's 70's 80's Rock and Disco, Talking Heads, Deep Forest, Groban, Chingon, Bocelli, etc. (just about anything but rap and country).
Movies
Movies I’ve enjoyed and would recommend include: Swordfish, Crouching Tiger..., House of Flying Daggers, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Mexican, Brazil, Being John Malkovich, Hitchhiker’s Guide..., Bandits, Mariachi and Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (by Robert Rodriguez), Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1&2, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, etc.
