My life has gone through a lot of changes in the past few months. Some good some not so good, but all learning and growing experiences. When life throws you lemons you make lemonaid. No sense in fretting over what could have beens or what might have beens...just pick up your boot straps and move on. Closure is a good thing. Life is too short to not be happy. If you find yourself not happy in your current life, do something about it. Move on, get over it and live. I am not your average Aquarius, I am full of life and spirit. I am demanding in my affections towards others because I am a very warm hearted and open person...this may seem bold for some but I believe honesty and being up front with someone is the best way to get to know someone. I like to be spontaneous and have some adventure...I do have my limits but if you ask me I may share with you...We only live once anyways, right? I do acting in our local theater and have been in 8 plays. I sing in a gospel group called The Chosen. I love to read. Mostly the Bible or Stephen King books. I like to go out dancing or just dance in the living room. Sometimes you might find me and my oldest son dancing away. I love to play poker and Texas Hold'em is my game of choice. I like to smoke a good cigar when playing poker. I don't drink, by choice so I am not into heavy drinkers. I like to go to the movies, mostly scary movies. Fall is my favorite time of the year when the leaves are turning orange and the air is cool and crisp. I actually like to clean my house, and when I have a free weekend that is what I like to do. I like to redecorate and make things fresh and new often. I like to garden and work in the yard. I like the simple things in life and will always make the best of things especially when you are in the company of great friends.

Those are two of my favorite quotes and seem to express how I feel about life in general.
I am picky about the man I am looking for and I know things can't always be perfect, but if he is willing to learn with me and grow with me then he must be a man worth my time. Nobody likes to get hurt and I am trying to prevent that, but I am also willing to try again to see if my man is out there. I learned that you must be careful, that we are not perfect and we all have had a past we wished we could of changed. So I am here now and I will take a chance again...for true love is worth finding...the question is....Is he out there?

I heard once that people in our lives are like parts of a tree. There are the leaves that really do nothing but look good they usually only last a season, then their are the branches that are pretty good to have around but they are not there for the long term, then there are the roots, the ones that stay forever. All we need are 2 or 3 good roots to last us a lifetime.
Music
I love all kinds of music. Especially contemporary gospel. Anything from Casting Crowns, Third Day, MercyMe, Jennifer Knapp..to Nickleback, Creed, Matchbox 20 to blues, country and jazz.
