Interests
I love music of all kinds. I like everything from Celtic to Opera, Classic Rock to Heavy Metal. The only thing I don't really care for is rap or hip hop. Guess I'm just too old for that! I love Elvis and the Beatles, the Monkees, Lynyrd Skynyrd...it's just good music if you can feel it in your soul.
I love to read, some of my favorite authors are Laurell K Hamilton, Tamar Myers, Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovitch, and of course JK Rowling.
I love the artwork of Amy Brown and Jessica Galbreath. Had the opportunity to meet Jessica last year and she is wonderful. I like any sort of artwork that has fairies, celtic designs, witches...
Samhain is my favorite holiday...followed closely by Beltane (but I don't have anyone special to assist me in the Great Rite!)
I love to write. I have at least 4 journals in my bedroom. I used to write stories but something sapped me of my creativity a few years ago. I'm hoping to overcome the writer's block soon as I have lots of ideas floating around in my head.
I collect shoe figurines and cat figurines (especially black cats). I also collect books. Did I mention that I love to read?
I love jewelry and have some very special pieces that were sent to me by a friend in Ireland. They were picked especially for me so it makes them very important to me. I never leave the house without some piece of jewelry.
I collect rocks, stones, crystals and sea shells. I love nature and so do my kids. We're always bringing home leaves, stones, sticks, etc.
I try to be very open minded. I'm a nurturer and like to take care of those who are important to me. I love my kids and I love animals. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm very emotional. If I love you, you never have to doubt it. If you are important to me, you will know it. I remember everyone who has touched my life whether it be for the good or bad.
I love history, love haunted places, battlefields. I want to go back to Salem someday and I also want to return to Disneyland...it truly is the most magical place on earth.
