I enjoy singing. I am slowly getting back into my music. I am considering working full bore to launch my career again. But I am still not sure what I want from me! I also enjoy writing. I have written countless poems. And I have even started a couple novels. Maybe one day. . . With that being said I have decided to bare an innate element of my fiber! Affection’s lips caressing thy body, I feel. Another divine soul’s secret depth, I touch. Life’s perilous existence crumbling, I worry. Fearless eyes wailing sorrowful streams, I do. April 6, 2001 Shadows of Life As I lie in the still of night and gaze at a hollow sky, I reflect on the story of my life. Like the star that has been singled out of a cloudy mist, I dare shine and be heard in a voiceless universe. Like the bitter piercing breeze, my feelings froze in the grasp of time. Character and emotion cast into the mere shell of what is. Like the lonely owl’s cry, I longed for my soul’s companion. Like the fresh scent of a spring rain, I yearn to be pure. Life is but a dark universe and I enlighten it’s shadows. April 9, 2001 Endless Time Shrilling voices roar from a mystic shadow. Brilliant multicolored beams glow from above, Showering a gorgeous rainbow upon my face. The beating of a drum fastens with the beating of my heart. My temperature rises with the roaring of the crowd. Seconds seem to last for eternity; Time is endless. The melody of my own heart rings our as my emotions grow stronger. The crowd sings along with the harmonies of my voice. At last, with a final blast, the music fades into the breath of time. Only to sound again in another endless time. May 29, 2001 All Seems Right I close my eyes All seems right with the world. It’s not until I fall to sleep Or I open my eyes that life haunts me. It’s there! In the place between dark and light. In the shadows, I can dream my fears away. He cannot touch me. I am safe, here. Just for now. My peace is merely an illusion. Within moments he will ravage my senses, again. I am trapped. In a world I did not create. I lay paralyzed by fear. I beg him to cease. The words he does not hear. The tears flow unnoticed. My soul burns with hate. His seed is sewn. The deed is done. I have satisfied his need. The desire I once longed for to be quenched He has drowned. Violating every ounce of my being. He releases me to rest. I close my eyes All seems right with the world. Summer of 2004 The Walk The sun is beautiful in the morning. A brilliantly bright star That creates in me. . . A sense of fulfillment. I am capable of anything. With each step, I take, I move forward into a better me. Closing my eyes I listen Birds chirping, heart beating, Stones crunching beneath my feet. I think about life And where I fit in. My house, my bills, my job. . . The list goes on. I open my eyes and turn around Into a radiant sunset’s stare. The anxieties of my life slowly fade away. With each step, I take, I move forward through another chapter. Looking upon a new horizon Prepared for what lies ahead. The sun is beautiful in the evening. I listen to just about everything. . .as long as I can understand the lyrics. But my favorites are Country, and Pop.

I love watching movies! I will watch almost anything. But one of my favorites is Twister. I'm not sure why but it is. I have just always loved it. Maybe it's the idea that loves conquers all!
