Another blog about nothing, lol. After two rounds of tag your it, and another couple with a few people, it has been brought to my attention that no matter how boring you think your life is, it can really be quite interesting.
My earliest memory that I can actually claim as mine and not a remembrance of mom or dad, is that of my mom crying in front of the TV in the living room. We were living in El Paso at the time, and President Kennedy had just been shot, it was November 22, 1963. I don't remember anything else from that time period, the hospital, the shooting of Oswald, the burial, all that is memory from film of the events.
Funny how people can sometimes see something often enough to believe it was their memory of it. I won't claim that I know what are my memories and which are 'accumulated' memories. And this will be a walk down memory lane, lol. I don't remember the Beatles records not getting airplay, though and American teenage got my old favorite station to play it WWDC - DC101 (home of such as Howard Stern and the Greaseman). I don't remember the Ed Sullivan show or the canceling of one show because of the assassination. OMG ppl, I was only 4, give me a break.
Yet to quote the Fab Four:
There are places Ill remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends i still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life i've loved them all.
