I've graduated from high school and I will be going to College of Dupage in August. There are few things in my life that bring happiness to me. They are:>Theater>Music>Modern Technology>Satisfaction of a long days work>Rollercoasters or any amusement thrill.Theater: I have come to love to just be in a theater. This may seem strange, but does it sound strange for an athlete to love to be in a stadium? There is a safe feeling that I can express my creativity and show something of me that I can't show in any other way. And I can show that through my lighting. Music: I have grown up with a lifestyle of music. I am a vocalist, but I have a fear of performing so I vocalize only on my own. But because of that I have more than respect to any other performer, whether its acting or musical. Modern Technology: In todays world, there are a few ways to become successful. Be wealthy enough to start your own company and become even more wealthy. Or if you are not wealthy, learn a trade and excel in it. This is not something new. This has been the way of life for as long as I know of. But trades today are different. With technology changing every day there is so much more to learn. I have learned very minimal about computer's but I still know more than many others. And that is leverage for the future. And I am also a dedicated worker who enjoys working with his hands. I have made many projects out of wood. And I am skilled in woodworking. Not as good as some but I have leverage for the future. Technology intrigues me and I try to learn little by little whenever I can. Satisfaction of Hard Work: This is something you don't see anymore. One of the things about theater that I love so much, is when the performance comes around, there is a feeling of such satisfaction. That I made this be something more than what it could have been. I made this more enjoyable to the audience. Only a few people I know truly understand this feeling. But it's the reason I enjoy theater so much. Rollercoasters: I love a thrill, the feeling of an adrenaline rush. And nothing has ever given me that feeling as much as a giant rollercoaster. But this is an adapted feeling that I got from my brother. Who feels this way towards Rollercoasters as I do about theater. But this is the one true way I have been able to really relate and enjoy my brother's company. In my pursuit of theater after high school theater I have been introduced to community theaters. And I am a member or 3 different groups.Grove Players of Downers Grove - I designed the lights for the final production of the 2005-2006 season. Which was School House Rock Live I enjoyed working on that show and made a great first impression on other members of that group. Vortex Theater of LaGrange Park - I designed the lights for All Because of Agatha Which was a thrill to work on a show with all adults who enjoy theater in their lives as I do. Petting Zoo Productions - I don't believe this is a Community Theater, but its a small group that is run by all students from Downers Grove North, with the exception of Myself and Mike Ross. And we were asked to work on this production of Fiddler On The Roof by the producer of the show. The performances are June 29 at 7:30pm and June 30 at 2pm and 7pm. It will be at the Lincoln Center in Downers Grove and Tickets are $8. I am designing the lights for this show as well.
