3 years ago, I fell in love with a girl, it was a loveatfirstsight kind of deal. We had on the same nail polish the first day we actually met in person, we messaged each other at the exact same time on myspace, when we were asking one another if we wanted to become friends. Weird things happened, so many things that were more than just coincidental. We soon became best friends and were damn close to being inseparable, but all the while my heart wanted more than just friendship, but I was also too afraid. I was afraid of what my family would say- afraid of what anyone would say, and also at that point in time I wasn't sure how she felt about me. Time passed and our relationship only grew, I always liked to say that we were less than lovers but more than friends. I ended up dating her ex, Amar, she told me we deserved to be together- the entire time I wish I was with her, yes, I know that makes me a bad person, but is it really my fault? My body was having these feelings that I didn't quite understand, so I tried time and time again to get rid of them but the only grew. Throughout the year and a half that I dated Amar, Melissa and I were on and off friends, we went through argument after argument, simply because of our feelings towards one another. She was my unattainable dream. Eventually Amar and I broke up and once again she was back in my life, I couldn't have been happier, I thought maybe just maybe we'd finally get our chance, but then someone else popped into the picture, he toyed with my emotions and played me like a violin and I fell for every word he said. So, him and I began dating.. until I found out he was cheating on me, even while I was with him, though, I was always wishing I was with Melissa. so, finally after 5 months and Jon cheating, we broke up. And Melissa was there to catch me, and I knew I was finally done with guys and that it was time for her and I to get our chance. She told me I had to wait a week after Jon and I broke up before I could date her because I needed time to heal, just in case I had a relapse, I didn't want to wait a week and nether did she, but she continued to say we had a week to wait. Then one day Bill and Melissa were at my house, she asked Bill if we should wait a week, he said no, and tada, as of February 20th, 2008 Melissa and I are finally, dating. I couldn't be happier, being around her makes me feel incredible, she makes my heart beat faster than it ever has before she always has. And the butterflies never stop fluttering, she drives me crazy, I would have ever thought that this level of love- of happiness could EVER be possible, I suppose it takes experience to learn. I don't know what I'd do without her, we've been through so much and my love for her has only grown. I wish I could put into words exactly how she makes me feel but I can't, trying to do that it's like trying to nail jello to a tree, I know I may be contradicting myself, due to the quote below this, but trying to explain how she makes me feel IS impossible. It's like trying to explain the beauty of colors to a blind person. She never fails to make me smile, no matter what's going on, she makes everything seem like it really is going to some day be okay. She's my life, my whole world and I don't know what I'd do without her, and I don't want to find out what being without her would be like because I know it would be completely unbearable. I love her; more than anything else in this world. She is my soulmate, My wifey, My Squishy ♥
