My name is Mike "Celtic Warrior", I am the President of the Guardians of the Children Northern Virginia Chapter. I started this Chapter with the help of my friend and Treasurer Stephen "Shadow" with the iention of helping abused and neglected children in our area.I have a new Vice President since my wife lisa had to step down due to her job. My new Vice President is a good friend and is a good hearted woman, her name is Sherry "Ebony Angel" and I know she will be a great VP. I have a new Secretary her name is Tina "Saphira", and I know she will be a great Secretary and a great person in this Chapter. My Sgt at Arms (Security Officer)is Fiona Michelle and she will be a great to this chapter with her knowledge of CASA. The GOC was started in 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. We became a Chapter a few months ago to help other agencies in our area fight child abuse. Our Mission statement is below:
GOC Mission Statement: Goc serves as a public benefit organization. We exist to educate the public about child abuse, and create a safer environment for abused and neglected children. The Members of GOC are charged with using their individual and collective resources to aid the victims of abuse and neglect. GOC is partnered with children's advocacy agencies to recieve referrals. If it is determined that GOC can benefit a child, we will organize to meet the child and through a ceremony bring the child into our organization. When needed, Members may attend court with our little wounded friends. The sole ourpose for our physical presence is to assist the child in being less intimadated and frightened while testifying against their abuser. As a body of concerned citizens, we help empower children to be courageous, even in the face of their ordeals. We stand ready to lend support tp our wounded little friends. GOC Members and Supporters are ordinary people who simply care avbout children. We are parents,grandparents,aunts and uncles. We are here to spread the imortant message of "No More Child Abuse". The members of GOC have taken an oath and will enforce with Valor, Truth and Integrity the Mission of this organization. GOC is not just one individual force fighting agaonst child abuse. GOC is a brotherhood of citizens banded together for the same cause -the children. Our association as citizens gives GOC unique qualifications to protect our children and the ability to call on resources that might not generally be available to the public at large.Our mission is to send a clear message to all who would abuse children that weare prepared to protect these children through our physical and emotional support. GOC does not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner. However,if we as a group, or as an individual, must act to prevent the abuse of another child,we will do so..

Well lets see my interest are helping the children of abuse and neglect in the Northern Virginia area. I feel as citizens we need to stand up for our wounded friends and let them know we are there for them in their time of fear and dispair. I want to send a clear message to anyone who would harm a child in anyway that we are here to stay and we are not going anywhere. So anytime you are out and about think about we are there and we are watching and we will stop you sooner or later. My other interest is staying in shape and being healthy. I am a personal trainer with my own home based fitness business. I haven't been able to work out since my motorcycle accident that left my Harley totalled. I suffered a shattered nose and a broken jaw from ear to ear, and was wired shut for about 10 weeks. I also injured my lower back and my right shoulder. All I can say is watch out for little old ladies driving Lincoln's. I assure you I will be back in the wind as soon as I am cleared to ride. I love writing about the biker lifestyle and the experiences I have had in the past and hope to have in the future.
I would also like to meet and network with new friends from close by to far away. If you like the feel of the wind in your hair and across your face lets be friends and share our stories of the open road.. I really don't care what you ride or drive as long as you have a good heart and have a place in your heart for helping abused and neglected children. I like to write about the biker lifestyle and the experiences I had while riding. There is nothing else like riding in the wind and feeling the wind caress through your hair and gently blow across your face. I believe those who drive in cages (cars) don't feel what its like being surrounded by metal and glass. Some people fear us cause we wear leathers to protect us from the elements and the road. Some fear us cause we look like modern day outlaws. I also think they fear bikers cause they don't understand us or the way we live, being free. I will be adding some of stories to my blog and whoever reads them hope you like what I write. It comes from the heart not from someone who thinks how it should feel but from someone who has experienced it first hand.....
