I grew up in Northeast Illinois on a farm south of Chicago went it was still farmland. Did my time in the Corps and then on the PD. Was a K9 officer as by the one photo in my batch there. Best partner one could have. Left the job early due to injury and when back to school at Univ.Illinois at Chicago. Moved out to Colorado in the early part of the 90s. I sold my older horse when I moved out here but then bought two about ten years ago. I work for myself contracting out to area attorneys doing PI work and process serving. I came down very ill four years ago and it was a REAL long haul coming back. My son married in 2004 and there is a photo of he and I together. At the time I was still in a wheelchair from the illness. My horses and my desire to ride again got me through it in the long run. That and my bullheaded stubborn Scottish streak and Marine Corps never give-up. And when it really got tough, I would tell myself,"Dont let the bastards wear you down." Rock Hard Exterior with a soft squishy center, more like super sensitive intuitive type, and men can be. I love women even for all their insanity. And ladies, dont act like you"re not. Own up to it.Hopefully, I will find that "one" someday. I love my four-legged kids even more. And anyone who is the same knows why we do. Finally for those out there. You know who you are and what this stands for.

Interests
I have a love of history. I double majored in it. I read alot. I love riding my horses when I can. I used to love my Harley, a '95' 1200 Sportster. but I had to sell it a few years ago. And no jokes about it being a girls bike. I'm short legged with a bad knee so it worked real well with me. I love live theatre, museums, art events, living history events, rendevous, I like to cook sometimes also. I am a very decent one. I learned how to cook out of self-defense. I had to eat my own so I learned. I try and eat healthy but living in Chicago for sometime I got spoiled by great resturants with fabulous food. Something not as easy to find here in Colorado. I am NOT a ski person. I leave that to you bunny types. If I want to play in the snow, give me a horse or a snowmobile. So on that note I say, "Good Night Gracie"
