photography-- i hope to be able to make a living from it. one of my pics made the frontispiece for a book soon to be released.

movies-- blood and gore (Rob Zombie is a genius), Pixar animations, Kevin Smith movies, spoofy satires, and sci fi/ fantasy.

NASCAR-- a determined Dale Jr fan til the end of NASCAR (or his career, whichever comes first)

my cats-- one big old b&w Maine coon and one adolescent obnoxious grey tabby. i do not dress them in outfits or feed them from my plate, but they sleep with me anyway and for this i am grateful as Winter draws nigh.

i read pretty much anything except junk romances, and usually read 2 or 3 at the same time. no, it does not get confusing.

and i like fixing broken things and feeding the squirrels. yea, i'm a sap.W

music: where to begin?

Marilyn Manson, NIN, Motorhead, Children of Bodom, Violent Femmes, Combichrist, a scattering of current popular songs and old faithfuld from the 80s or so, and good old-fashioned blues. Robert Johnson, who sold his soul to Legba at the crossroads and then went on to sing about it; Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong, Huddie Leadbetter, Billie Holiday, and B.B. King. where would we be without B.B. King?
saw Manson in concert, October of 2003 at the Orpheum in Boston, Bo Diddley at the New England Blues Festival in 2001 (was it 2001?), and was around in about 1973 when you could see Aerosmith for free at music venues all over the Boston area coz they weren't even out yet. lots of CDs, tapes, videos and memories...
