Grandma always said,"Sweeter are the praises from another person's lips than all the boasting from my own Lips."

Well I am not one to boast or talk about my accomplishments...They speak for themselves...
As for who Am I ? And why am I here? These are age old philosophical questions that would take volumes to explain and still come up short. Many have been written and still others will be written to help each new generation try and find themselves.
Descartes answered the question,"How do I know I am real (and not a figment of someones imagination)? After many months of deep consternation and scientific experimentation, he succinctly stated, "I Think, Therefore I am."

I am at once a story teller and an audience for others tales of adventure or quiet moments spent pensively examining one's life. We must examine our lives at regular intervals.
For I believe it was Socrates, who said, "The unexamined life is not worth living."

We have so many things advancing in our lives that demand our time and attention that some will inevitably fall between the cracks (as it were) until such a time when even they will demand our complete attention and settle for nothing less.

The ancient Latin phrase, "Carpe Diem" says a lot is just two short words. "Seize the Day" is more that a trivialized chant of a long forgotten language and a long forgotten culture.
What can we glean for ourselves?
Now, Is all that we can control. Sometimes all we can control is how we respond to stimulus that bombards us each and every day.
There are so many Cliche's about, Yesterday, today, and tomorrow. They are poignant enough for trite sentences designed to be catch pharses.
If we delve just a little deeper we find that this moment in time (and each subsequent moments) is all that we can affect or control our actions/reaction to stimuli that interact with us. Missed opportunities become regrets. True we can hope for tomorrow...but today we prepare for tomorrow's reality.
When we grasp the power of that thought we can move any obstruction in our path.
A wise man once said,"If you take care of the minutes in your life, The rest (hours, days, weeks,Months, years)will take care of themselves."
