Does anyone else realize what organized religion and the ignorance it is fueled is doing to us as a species? I feel sometimes like I'm the only one who realizes the severity of this self-inflicted plague that is destined to destroy us as a species. I understand it's original intent of morality and love and peace, but now the fundamentalists and anyone who believes in these plagiarized mythologies are just using those good intentions as a disguise to make it easier to push sick agendas. Aesop's Fables at least offers the same good intentions and doesn't kill millions of people. People need to start believing and taking responsibility for themselves. Governments need to be run by Atheists and other free thinkers. We are running out of time. Instead of reaching unified enlightenment we are on the brink of another world war...based on MYTHOLOGY!!!! The news won't speak of this...the internet doesn't put this type of S.O.S. alert for people to see. We are allowing this to happen and if we don't wake up and come together as a species our children will have nothing but death and radiation to inherit.
