I am a 90% disabled veteran. I spent roughly 4 months in the US Marine Corps and was medically discharged in September 1995. I regained my health, and returned to service 6 months later and joined the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman - to pay tribute to the men and women of the enlisted medical ranks that saved my life as a Marine.

I spent 16 & 1/2 total years in service and have had multiple tours to Iraq. I served at 2 Naval hospitals - Naval Hospital Great Lakes and Naval Medical Center Balboa. The rest of my time was either spent in medical training or with the US Marine Corps - I was with the 31st MEU, MSSG-31 (Special Operations Capable). 13th MEU, MSSG-13 (Special Operations Capable). 1st Med. BN., 1st Mar Div, RCT 7 - during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. I was also with MWSS-373 Security Forces (Sec For) in Al Taqaddem Iraq in 2008 & 2009. I was also with 3rd FSSG, 3rd Med. BN. - - - These are in no way shape or form in any order.

I am currently attending Monroe County Community College in pursuit of my Associates of Science degree and will be finished in December - in January, I start up at the University of Michigan for my Bachelor's of Science in Public Health.
