Going to see this band in Charlotte for NEW YEARS EVE 07'.
Enjoyed music tememdously ever since first discovering radio. Buying that first Van Halen, Journey, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Cure albums. Soon after, I began to build car steroes with my 87 Toyota Celica hatchback. Always tinkering until it was a 9 speaker (mono center channel, adjustable) piece of magic. In retroscpect, it was over the top and sometimes sloppy. Course back then, was new news. Always had (too much) good clean power for the system. These days I have no such monstrosity, just a lone electric guitar that I cant play. I've found that my area is bass guitar, drums or melody. Six strings is too much with too many combinations right now.
What I can say about music is how amazing it is to hear live. Studio discs are sometimes great but to actually see the emotion and creation between a band and the crowd is great. I also love the band > crowd > venue factor that always is entertaining. So here's a list of bands, some I've seen more than 40 times, that were/are great.
