My silent screams go unheard
like a voice to be reconed with
like whispers of my immortal soul
in dreams awake but not feeling
my emotions get away from me
rehearsing these screams
that no one hears but me
walked through my core to the bottom
numb is a begining but doesnt touch
the anguish that is felt within
and yet i smile fake the reality
not letting anyone into my world
losing myself in this madness
waiting for the day to come
knowing all the while no one sees
i smile to hide the grief within
paint it pretty show them all
watch as they see it and know nothings wrong
or so they think
or so they believe
but its not real and its not me
