He promised to love like he said, No matter what occurs, And to show his proof of truth, He traded his heart for hers. Now that he had the trust, He loved her more than she could believe, They treated each other like royalty, So why did she still leave? Did he say somthing to hurt her? Or was it the little things he didn't do? His love for her was tight But she still slipped through Didn't believe in giving up on this He tries to talk to her everyday And each time he's broken, As she says nothing turns and walks away Even though it hurts He looks for some else to take her spot It seems to work for others, But for him its not Being alone is no longer an option, He can't stop thinking about her To fnd somebody else was a joke, He'd rather struggle with her than without her, Using methods that cover up what he really wants to say Its a painful process and his hearts still shattered But he'll pick the up pieces on the way

She paces back and forth Worries fill her head, She stops only to see her boyfriend, Patiently sitting at the end of the bed. Getting her thoughts together, But her words are still hard to find, Until she takes a deep breath, And says what's on her mind. "It's been three years, And I like where this is going, But the future holds no promises, And you know I hate not knowing. Theres no garauntee that we'll always be together I know we can fight for so long, But I don't wanna fight forever." The boyfriend looked up at her, His confidence filled the air, Replying...... "To conquer love without a fight, would be living life unfair" She says, " We're able to make it together But what about when we're apart? What if theres another one, That comes and steals your heart?" He answers, " You are now apart of me, For as long as I live, There will never be another, I only have one heart to give." Yet she still paces back and forth, Her heart is not content, When he said he loved her, Its clear she didn't know what he meant. So he stopped her from pacing, and grabbed her by the hips, Sat her on his lap, Gave her the softest kiss on her lips. Before he said anything He looked deep into her eyes, He was about to speak the truth, There was no space for lies. "We've been together to long, To start lingering in doubt. We can't change the past or future, The present is what its about. You don't have to worry, I'll always hold you down. Being with you, Reminds me of happiness I've found. As long as we're together, There's a piece of heaven we taste........." He smiles as he sees a tear roll down his baby's face. She puts a finger to his lips, Lets him know she understands. He hugs her tight, feels the warmth And holds her other hand. In that time everything little thing Started to make sense, Their hearts and minds became one, As they held each other in silence

Dear Luv, Good morning boo, did u sleep well? I wish I was there when you awoke, But I had to be to work early So I thought I'd leave you a note. I left some breakfast on the table. I know you'll be hungry when you get up, And yes, I kept your o.j. cold, It's in the refrigerator in a cup. I liked when we talked last night, It brought out our best, I could of went on and on, But you fell asleep on my chest, And as you lay in your slumber, While I ran my fingers through your hair, I soon started to realize, How much I really cared, As I watched your sleeping face, I don't know what I would do, If the bad really occured And somthing terrible happened to you, I gotta get to work, Hope this made you feel better, I just wanted to say, 'I love you' All within this letter, So I'll see you tonite, You'll proabably get home before me, Today and Forever, Love always, Courtney

What She Wants... By:Courtney Hurting from a break up It's amazing how she moved so fast, She called it "going on", An excuse to forget her past. Different guy every month, Gettin played makes her a toy, She too desperate and blind, She gets no men and all the boys. Making it hard for herself, She knows she not doing it right, Because she's huggin and kissin, On the ones she "just likes" Trying to feel loved again, She's numb and she can't help it.....but, This is all the wrong way, It makes her look like a slut. Not following the heart, Letting her mind take the lead, She's reaching for what she wants, Not grabbing for what she needs. But she keeps "moving on" Seems like every guy makes her bitter, But its all her fault, She only grabs at the ones that glitter. And finds that their not gold, These games are getting old, She's moving really fast. But still getting left in the cold. And until she figures out, That this is a sign, That love is not rushed, Its gonna take some time, Then life is gonna be harsh Dark and lonely, But, patience, in time she'll find, Her one and only.
