A friend of mine rented a home within the past month in NC. All of the utilities, including cable and internet, are in the landlord's name. This past week his landlord, without his knowledge, cut off the cable and internet to the rental (which were supposed to be included for free).

My friend called her to ask why she had done this, only to have her reply that if he called her again she'd "report him for harrassment".

I need your opinion.... if you were him, what would you do to rectify this situation?
