I was devistated at work today....
i was having such a good day today til about 2:30....
and omg i was devistated when my bro came to my work to give me the news. He basically told me that he has terminal Cancer, and he's only got 8 months to live...i really didn't know what to say except hug him and try to make him laugh afterwards, cause i'm sure he was tired of crying about it. I felt so helpless and life really became a big factor to me and i realized just how important you need to cherish everything and everyone that's with you in this lifetime. I basically told him well your time on earth will definately be LIVED UP, and i'll miss him when he's gone.
Should i have done anything different? How would you handle something like this? I felt so helpless and life really became a big factor to me |
