Ok approximately 6yrs ago I was seeing this girl we dated for little under 1yr it ended but we stayed friends. She is now married just had a kid and they have called me to ask if I would be his godfather and to be honest I'm not sure if I would be ready to take on a kid if anything should happen to them. if you were in my shoes would you...
accept: get over the awkwardness of her being an ex and do whatever you need to for the kid
decline: tell them your honored but not the right person for the job
