1)The knowledge from firsthand experience;
2)The knowledge from others
or 3)They are equally influential.
Myself I think both are equal. Why? We need an equal balance of both to understand the true meaning of knowledge. If we only go on firsthand we are deaf to other peoples knowledge and the struggles that they went through to become the person they are....
my two cents for now. :-)
