Interests
My biggest love is my dog who has brought joy to so many people and saved many murder attempts as happens in households!
I have him only because of the brain surgery which has cured the epilepsy, before I probably would have trodden on him and would never have been able to walk him alone. He is a healing dog from Tibet but hates to be healed at times. However, he is clumsy and keeps hurting his legs.
My latest love is DIY and I have tiled my conservatory, done bits of the floor in the kitchen and have just painted my first ever door after filling the cat flap hole and the letter box hole too. I think it looks good, certainly better than it was and goes nicely with the wall tiles.
I love writing, goes without saying but I am not as prolific now. Drawing used to be fun but you get out of the habit and hands and skulls are not easy to draw after a break of dot blob years. I enjoy keeping my mind active so am a curious person willing to try anything once. Perhaps inquisitive would be a better word.
Reading is something I cannot do so well now due to retinal problems but I get by and there is not much to read except for instructions on tools, tiles and paint pots!!
I dabble in healing, not the occult, so have an interest in the metaphysical and in particular Reiki, different religions but I am not a religious person, more spiritual. I love meeting interesting people, adventurous cooking, drinking good full bodied red wines which are not good for the head.
I am not interested in housework as it is crushingly tedious and I have a low boredom threshold which was I studied aromatherapy and went into esoteric subjects.
