So I don't typically cry in movies or shows, but for some reason there are certain scenes that almost always make me tear up. One of them is the scene in All in the Family where Archie and Mike are stuck in the back room of the bar and they both get drunk and Archie reveals that his father abused him...and also pretty much explains why he has the attitudes he has.
Anyway, I started tearing up and then full on crying. I think the fact that I'm going through a slump right now with the no job and being romantically uninvolved with anyone in 6 years just exacerbated it.
maybe I should try acting? I think I figured out how they just cry on demand. All I need would be to have that scene queued for me. Another one that does the trick is AJ's suicide attempt in the Sopranos.
