Ok so a few nights ago I was doing an Open mic night thing with my band and for those of you who know we are a hard rock band...anyways we get done with our set and when I get off stage I am met by a group of black guys who ask me why Am I not up there doin R&B or rap and when I told them I dont do that I was called a sellout cause I didnt support "Our Peoples" music and that blacks or minorties for that matter have no place doin Rock....and I shouldt dress the way i dress and so on and on
So here is my question
What do yall think out there
Should we all stay in our boundries
Or
Say fuck it and be who we are no matter what people think |
