The One
(Incomplete)
By Clinton C. Ferguson
Before knowing if the other person is indeed the one that you’re meant to be with, you must first know who you are.
Knowing who oneself is allows you to understand what love truly means to yourself and the difference between what is wanted and what is needed to be in love and to love someone completely. This takes time, patience, and experience. Time: to contemplate on your own hart. Patience: that eventually, even if briefly, the one you are meant to be with will be found. Experience: learning through past relationships what will be the correct course of action when that particular person is found.
Contemplation is necessary to bring about proper change in life and the best way to seek this level of love.
Once that is completely followed through you are ready even if they are not. If the latter is evident then passive perseverance is highly suggested. Allowing the other person to discover all of these things out for themselves and then fully ready to be with you is worth waiting for.
When both people know in their respective harts that the other is solely meant for them then the journey begins anew to life together filled with love.
