Every year I give lil gifts to my mail carrier, trash guys and my news paper deliverers. Although I pay for these services, they are carried out sometimes in the harshest of conditions and I appreciate their service. So here's where I need a lil help.
I've ALWAYS had the friendliest, most helpful, customer service driven people but since I moved 2 yrs ago, its as if the new people assigned to my route could care less. The mail man won't attempt to deliver the very important certified mail that I get regularly, even Ager I've complained to the post master general, concerning land leases (money I get from leasing land I own) causing me to have to drive into town for it, sometimes I don't get my mail at all and a neighbor a mile away brings it to me or simply rudeness from them on any given day. My trash guys sometimes fail to pick up, as of they skipped me entirely and I have to call it in on the following business day leaving the entire weekend with no where to put my accumulated trash. And my newspaper deliverer tosses the paper anywhere but the drive way about 75% of the time.
I'm not a demanding person.... I'm extremely nice but this all had left me with having to complain to their bosses and I hate doing that to anyone.
Soooooooo do I continue the tradition and still give them a lil something or do I say screw you and possibly end up causing it to be worse? Lol I don't want to be Grinch but should the naughty be shown the consequence of their crappy service? |
