Alot of life changes, from Las Vegas I traveled in those travels I met alot more people had alot of good times. 1st Chair Tattoo artist to 1st chair Daddy. The sparkly lights of Las Vegas to the more subdued lights of a suburbian neighborhood to raise a little girl.
I have had the pleasure of enjoying her company 24 hrs a day for the entire short life she has lived thus far. All of her first discoveries I have been able to see and enjoy with her. Her first Kisses and hugs. Ive been here for them all. I am the recipient of the truest Love other than Gods in this world.
I am truly a blessed man. As she grows, even at 49yrs old, I grow as well. I get to re-experience the newness of life with my daughter. Remember alot of things that we forget as we grow older. How grass feels on bare feet and how to smile when you feel like it.Life screws us up as we become adults and we stop seeing the newness of each day.
Each morning(I get to experience how many different colors) diapers can contain as she gets to try different foods. I find it hard at times to beleive a human being can smell so bad and not be dead or something. She smiles in thanks and we go on with our day.
It's hard to beleive that in 2 months she will be a year old. I have to stop and think that in actuality she will be grown before to long and all of the things that we share now will be history. because her own life will pull her away from her Daddy. I think of my other daughters both away in college.
We still have a bond that will be there forever, but from their first steps until now our lives together are changed and my little girls are no more. So when I say I am blessed, I am truly. One more round bartender, then I have to get home to my little girl for our next adventure.
