Ok this is sort of a 2-sided question, and I'm NOT trying to offend ANYONE. I've just had this question on my mind, and a debate about it several times.
I think most have seen or at least heard of the 20/20 show where they go online posing as young girls to lead men into getting busted for being pedophiles. Now, on the surface. This is a GREAT IDEA.
But my question is this..is it not entrapment? While it's for kids, truly I think it should be allowed. But nonetheless, it seems somehow wrong.
My 2nd question is more an observation I guess. With so many young girls dressing so provacative and learning so much at these early ages.. Do they not also need to be held accountable.
Girls know more about sex, drinking, the law, than we ever did growing up!! Way more. & I overheard my friends lil cousins laughing saying some guy was going to come party with them, so what if he got in trouble. Ok these were 13 yr girls talking about a 21yr old man!
My ONLY point with that, is "Tweens" these days are gonna KNOW what an older man wants with them..it's not like they've got no clue at all.
Ok so crucify me if you like. But this whole issue seems is becoming an epidemic and I'm curious what others think of it. I hope I worded it right..This is more of a debate and I'm not really sure how I feel about the whole thing. |
