I am NOT single, we are NOT swingers, and I'm extremely
happy with my girlfriend :) In essence,
you could consider me boring in those regards!
Heck, in all regards most likely.
People either ‘get me’ or they don’t…

Also – if I drop you a comment, a message, etc – I am _NOT_
hitting on you, trying to seduce you, looking for your secret stash of porn, or
trying to get anything else from you.
They are called compliments – deal with them. There are a LOT of
beautiful people in this world, and I think it should be okay to say so…if
you’re uncomfortable with genuine compliments, put a bag over your head. J

I rate photos based on what’s in them – so don’t get
offended if I rate the pics of you, but not your boobs, your legs, your feet –
or your man! If it’s a *good* picture,
well composed, interesting lighting, or an interesting subject – I will leave a
comment. I know comments are worth more
– but please, posting 2 million pics of you from your cell phone and with just
a slightly different angle does not warrant a rating, and is not worth my time to rate them.

Also – on that subject matter – put private pictures in a
different folder – I’d like to look at the photos you have available to me, but
leaving them in your default folder means I can’t go from one picture to the
next without getting held up on a ‘privacy’ issue…

By day, I’m a Sr. Network Administrator…it doesn’t necessarily define who I am,
but it pays the bills and lets me buy toys! Mainly
camera and computer equipment, or gets me somewhere I can take pics...

Off hours, I am a budding photographer - working out of
Cleburne, Tx. I
own and operate 'SquirrelShots Photography'.
Not a large operation, part time right now - but I have faith that it
will grow as time goes by. Hopefully,
I’ll use photography for my income…everyone has to have a dream, right?

The pics I post here are all original pictures, taken by
me, unless they otherwise labeled…or obviously someone else’s…(the
Super Squirrel – for instance – is NOT my work…it shouldn’t be too hard to
separate what’s mine from the rest…)

Why do I like photography?

For me it's all about catching the light, the pattern, the
form, the action, and the emotion - all of which happens in a fraction of a
second. Composing the image and to capturing
it before it's gone is a challenge – and I’m my own worst critic, so most of
what I shoot ends up in the bit-bucket, unless it’s a snapshot of a loved one,
friend or family.

Being able to capture a moment in time, and have it convey
the event in such a way that others feel something - well, that's the magic of
photography for me.

Right now I shoot mostly stock photos – animals, family,
friends and events. I’m trying to branch out a little more, so I’m looking for
some models to work with. I'm looking
for models (male, female or guardian accompanied teens) willing to work for
trade. I'm still building my portfolio,
and don't have a lot of free time - or free money. I am looking for people who would like to
have professional quality pictures taken, in return for signing model
releases...of course, I wouldn't turn down a paying customer either ;)

Other than photography, I love movies and TV. Photography gets me out of the house and into
nature (which I enjoy), but movies and TV shows let me escape into a rich,
vibrant world - one that can be paused, and restarted as time allows.

I also enjoy reading - just about anything on photography
techniques, Stephen King, sci-fi short stories, and other stuff. I do most of my reading on a PDA.
