| Earlier this year NASA had laid off damn near all it's employees, discontinued the international space station project, and scrapped many other ideas. The reason being? That the Government needed to find ways to fix the budget and Space exploration was not high on the list of things that needed to be done right now. However, Obama made a speach saying that by 2025 we should be living in Space and heading towards having a man on Mars? I'm a huge Space nut, I love all things Space and if I were smarrer I'd be an astrophysicist or a theoretical physicist. Man's ultimate demise could be halted by further exploring Space and finding more Earthlike planets and or Moons that could harbor life in which could save our exsistence one day. Is that a valuable asset the Government should be spending our tax dollars on? |
