My Self-Summary
Why, hello there! Welcome to one of my little places on the wide web! Won't you sit down for a bit and rest your feet? I'm sure you're tired from all of your surfing!
How are you doing anyway? I would love to offer you something to drink, but unfortunately drinks don't mix well with the inside of computer towers~I can't imagine why! And, tea is probably the only thing available from my refrigerator at any given moment..would that suffice?
So, I imagine you want to know something about me, since you have clicked your way here, right? Well, let's see.. I am a 25 year old woman, living in a yuppy-ish neighborhood in Coralville. This is a place I swore I'd never live- on a roundabout, surrounded by soccer mom's and 2 parent-2 children households.. but here I am. As John Lennon once said, "Life is what happens when you make other plans." I see the evidence of that everyday in my life...
Here's some tidbits about me: (It's up to you to decide if 'interesting' is the word for them!)
~~ (I absolutely love peanut butter, jelly & marshmallow sandwiches on wheat.. Yes, I said MARSHMALLOWS! Is that odd, or do more people eat that combination then I am aware of?
~~I love eggnog. Unfortunately, it is a one-sided affair. My stomach has waged a war against it for as long as I can remember.. Makes me very sad.
~~I sing ALL the time. Unfortunately, I am no good at it. If people heard me, they'd probably point and laugh. And then they'd call the police for disturbing the peace. Really, I might be exaggerating, (just a tad,) but I don't know.
~~I love bowling, but I have no skill. The last time I went to the alley, I sucked so bad at it, that my friend who was working behind the counter put the bumpers up for me!
~~I should have tea running through my veins with the amount that I drink..
~~I look really good in red.
~~I love reading, nothing is better than a good book. None of that electronic literature for me, I don't get the point. See below for my favorites at the moment...
~~I shake my head daily at the cluelessness that I see in people who shop. And I personally think it's much fun to be sugar sweet to the really moody and pissy people-it makes them so much madder... Is that awful?
~~I absolutely LOVE going to the beach in the summer. That also include the Coralville Reservoir. The hot sun, rushing water.. nothing can be better!
~~I would do almost anything for a Whopper meal. Yes, the Burger King sandwich! I prefer that to a fancy restaurant. Give me Burger King, stimulating conversation, and an arcade session over a fancy dinner and movie any day!
~~I can't get enough horror movies. My favorites are the original Last House on the Left, Devil's Rejects, and House of a 1000 Corpses.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My television sets don't turn on very often, except for Wednesday nights, (when I record my favorite shows,) and Monday nights, (when I get to watch them....Ghosthunters, the original(!!)
Also, I watch from time to time I watch M*A*S*H, Friends, Will And Grace, Comedy Central, Ghost Hunters International, Three's Company, and Roseanne. The newest addition to this list is Ghosthunters Academy.
I love reading, and have for as long as I can remember. I first read Stephen King's IT when I was 11~perhaps that explains why I don't like clowns? I also love to read Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare and many other classics. My guilty (literature) pleasure is romance novels.. what woman doesn't indulge once and awhile??
The six things I could never do without:
1. music
2. my family & friends
3. my puppy
4. peace & quiet
5. books
6. Did I mention music?
I spend a lot of time thinking about....
....actually, my lovely profile browser.. I daydream A LOT.. I think better that way. Currently, I'm thinking about how to improve my life, my situation, and how I could possibly help my friends and family
On a typical Friday night I am
working and sleeping, I usually have to work at seven in the morning, so I don't get out on that particular night. Bummer, right?
I'm sorry you have to leave now, but I do hope to see you again soon!
