When we were growing up we had Saturday morning tv to look forward to and the networks competed to keep the kids entertained by getting what they thought was good quality programming to keep us kids quiet so our parents could sleep in past 8am. I'm not saying they were all winners but at least the shows weren't insulting to a kids intellect, today they talk down to kids even my 5 y/o nephew would rather put on video games than watch the tripe they pass off for entertainment. Thank god for the Hub , Cartoon network and Boomerang ... I feel sorry for the kids these days
