I work third shift at a place where it's my job to make sandwiches at night. Subs, pizza subs, roast beef sandwiches, things like that. New Update On Steven
I was over seeing Steven today, he is doing amazingly good. He is finished his chemo treatment for now but due to go back in 3 months time to the hospital for a check up to see if the cancer is still dormant. As you can see from the photo his hair is starting to grow back as well and he is putting on weight again. The district nurse still comes in everyday to give him an injection to help to control his potassium levels.

12 years ago i played for the hudson valley vikings..we went 0-10 my first year and 0-10 my third my second i got my knee mashed so badly i was hobbled for 8 months...this summer i had the chance to return to the field of fun with a new team the troy fighting irish and try my quest agian. So far our season hadent gone so well 0-4. Sauterday my 12 year wait was over as we won 41-0 over the johnstown colonials..i got to play the entire game switching between center and right tackle..i have to say the feeling of getting the monkey off my back from his ass pounding me is great, and even though the game was sadly called to the fact that some of the players on the other team couldent control themselves. Since this is my first blog, don't realy know how its suppose to go. Just saying whats on my broken heart....didn't think there would be a better time then now. This morning I woke then heard the most horrific news I regreted to ever hear, and that is the passing of my grandfather. The man was truely the most remarkable human being alive. Very much loved in the small town community where I'm from (TX) Grateful because I just seen him 2 weeks ago when I went on vacation to visit and now it seems that every word he spoke last to me is playing over and over in my head. State of confusion and misbelief is dwelling in my mind. Well heres the story we all know I have a puppy named Jasper you can see it in my pictures.. Well today the worst happened. The asshole across the street called the Humane Society and said we were beatin the puppy which would never happen cayse neither me or my hubby believe in hittin an anmial. My job consists of medical emergency calls and today I received one of the worst. I am about to leave for the day and I receive a call from “Jane” but when I answered the call, no one said anything on the other end, I have this rule after me saying Hello three times with no response I normally will hang up. It's really good and i recommend it to people who like free-verse poetry..It's about how three teenagers try to commit suicde and fail and they are commited to a mental hospital. It's about their struggles from the first day to the very end and how they become friends. it's kinda sad but it's really good. once you start reading it you don't want to put it down. Another book that is really good is called "Crank" by Ellen Hopkins. It's about a girl who goes to visit her father and how she gets addicted to Coke. Then when she gets back to her mothers house she ios raped and has a crack baby. It was a great book. it is also in free-verse poetry. Another good one is called "What Gives" of corase it's also in free-verse poetry. However it is a true story. It was intended on being a 300 page suicde note. It's about this girl who starts thinking about suicde and writes it all down. T

The New Arrivals And A Surprise
I was sitting on the couch watching a movie not expecting company. When who should appear but August and Jae with the PUPPIES. I thought for only a visit but August said, no they are here to stay, they are winged and eating on their own. Recovery Day
I had some surgery done yesterday after an incident on a fire scene.I now have a new scar(or shall I say will have) to add to the collection of service related battle wounds. I have a 9 inch long one now along my right side just above the belt line.After removal of the object , 30 internal stitches and 13 external stiches the repair work is done and i am A-OK. My surgeon(who I refer to as DR.Feelgood) gave a script for percocet,so I am not really feeling pain,just some discomfort. Thanks to those that called and sent cards.You lighten My heart and brighten My day.

Lately, I've been sick, I had a gastro-intestinal bug, I guess you could call it. After two weeks I am starting to feel better! Whoopie!!!!!! Then I had to go to a new neurologist this past Monday for my RSD...he is going to refer me to a pain mangement clinic...oh joy! *SIGH* I also re-connected with a friend from downstate.....which has greatly helped my mood! I just got engaged on 8/02/07 to the love of my life. We have lived together for the past year upon his return from being deployed to Iraq and he finally popped the question to me! I'm wondering what to do.Those of you that know me know I spend countess hours rating peoples pictures and stash to help them level. Well im not sure if its because I've GodFathered or what but only a few rate back. My question doesnt really concern with points because im not worried about what I have there. Cujos House Of Pain
Oh shit Zug Izland is playing the boardwalk on Oct 10th. Fuck yeah I will be there. Yeah so I have been sick for almost 2 months. Just getting to the end of it where I have just a slight cough. So sitting at a red Light yesterday and cough and blam one of my ribs on the left hand side of my body pop out hell of loud and pop back into place. I cant breath from the shock and the pain shooting through my body and I start to pass out. Luckly I get off the road and spend the next 10 to 15 minutes relearning how to breath. So the rest of the night I try not to cough which means of course I cough, my holy body learns new meanings of pain and tears are flowing easily. Hmmmm
I'm sure alot of people already seen it on the news, but on wednesday just a little after 6, the I-35W bridge collapsed. I'm from minnesota, and its a really big thing, cuz things like this dont happen, and shouldnt have happened. Some of you might not care, but I do, cuz it happened in my home state, not even 2 hours from where i live. 4 bridges in minnesota i guess, are bad, one, me and my boyfriend, just went on twice, hearing about that, kinda makes your nerves twitch. The bridge we went over, is built the exact same way as the I-35W bridge. Well, thanks to our governor, ordering expections on all our bridges, this bridge we went over was being looked at. I know this cuz i seen them doing it, when we went over it the second time. Gosh I remember the first glance on T.V, of the collasping, it was horrifing, It took your breath right out of your mouth.

Right now, at this very unique moment in time, I am trying to conquer a nose bleed that has lasted for the past three hours. Observing
I so rarely write about this...but hey you know me...when I'm passionate about something... I go with it. Most people know I'm a people watcher. In doing so, I notice a lot of things. Now there may be a couple of reason why I notice. Could be that it's something I relate with, I may see myself, I may feel compassion, it may remind me of a sweet memory, or the flip side, a not so sweet memory.
