Interests
My interests are quite varied; I love to learn and to try new things. Those seem to be the core themes that run through most of my interests.
I *love* to read. It's so fun to escape into an interesting story once in a while. Before I started spending so much creative energy on programming, I used to write quite a bit. I still write a short story here and there, and once in a great while poetry.
I also really like to cook and bake, especially if it involves making some new dish for a party or carry-in.
Additionally, love the outdoors. It's probably apocryphal but mom swears one of my first words was "Outside" To that end, I do a lot of running and hiking when I get the chance. Those are both great to relieve stress, and I enjoy getting great landscape pictures. There is so much beautiful stuff out there that no one bothers to go and see.
